CenturyLink is a major telecommunications company that offers high-speed Internet to residential customers and businesses. As of June 2018, CenturyLink’s network spanned 40 states and served more than 4 million homes and businesses with fiber-based broadband, including data, video and voice services.

The company was founded in 1968 by Bill Andrews who wanted to use the new fiber optic cable technology to make phone calls over long distances. In 1980, the first commercial fiber optic system was developed in Norwalk California. Today, CenturyLink is still a leader in providing fast Internet connections for your home or business office. Here are some information about its plans:

    CenturyLink Internet Plans

CenturyLink Altamonte offers DSL and fiber internet plans in almost every state across the country. CenturyLink internet plans are available to both business and residential customers, with a variety of speeds and pricing options.

CenturyLink offers DSL, fiber and satellite internet. DSL is a type of broadband internet that uses existing telephone lines to transmit data. Fiber-optic internet runs through a physical cable that transmits data as pulses of light. Satellite internet is available in remote areas where other types of broadband are not available.

    Benefits of CenturyLink Internet

CenturyLink offers DSL and fiber internet plans, cable internet plans, satellite internet plans, mobile internet plans, home phone service and business Internet service. CenturyLink’s DSL options include three speed tiers: Basic (1 Mbps), X2 (5 Mbps) and Ultimate (12 Mbps). The cable plan comes with speeds of up to 300 Mbps for residential use. It also provides business-class services for small offices up to large enterprises with up to 10 gigabit per second speed tiers. CenturyLink’s satellite broadband through HughesNet offers speeds ranging from 15 megabits per second to 150 megabits per second depending on your location in the country.

CenturyLink’s wireless service is available in over 50 states across America through its partnership with Sprint Spectrum. You can enjoy unlimited talk time while using this service at low monthly rates with no contract commitments required!

The Details of CenturyLink Internet Plans

CenturyLink Fiber Altamonte offers a number of different internet plans, with speeds ranging from 10 Mbps to 1000 Mbps. These include:

    • ADSL and fiber internet plans. CenturyLink offers both DSL and fiber, which provides greater speed than DSL and is generally less prone to interference or outages. The company’s fastest speeds are offered by its fiber optic service; these plans have download rates at 45 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 150 Mbps and 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps).
    • High-speed internet packages. CenturyLink also offers several high-speed packages for homes with multiple devices connected simultaneously to the network at once — 1 connection for every $10 in monthly service charges after the first 10 GBs. In addition to an unlimited data allowance each month on these plans, customers can also choose between free installation or paying an extra fee upon activation of their account if they want professional setup services performed by an installer sent out by CenturyLink themselves instead of doing it themselves at home after receiving equipment delivery instructions via email within 24 hours after placing their order online

CenturyLink offers DSL and fiber internet plans.

CenturyLink offers DSL and fiber plans to residents in various areas. DSL plans are available in many areas, while fiber is only available in select regions. Both types of service can be purchased as standalone or bundled plans.

DSL speeds vary depending on the plan, but all CenturyLink options offer uploads and downloads that are far greater than what you get with a traditional dial-up connection, which usually maxes out at 56kbps for both directions. Fiber connections boast much faster speeds: 12Mbps (megabits per second) for downloads and 1Mbps for uploads with basic service; 24Mbps/3Mbps; 50Mbps/5Mbps; 100Mbps/10Mbps; 200 Mbps/20 Mbps; up to 1Gbps/100 Mbps depending on location

    Conclusion

If you’re looking for a solid home internet provider, we recommend CenturyLink and AT&T Fiber New Orleans. Its plans are affordable and offer plenty of speed to meet your needs. Plus, there’s no contract required with CenturyLink—you can cancel anytime without penalty!
